Where it began
Our journey began with the wisdom of Hakeem Phami Ram Ji, a renowned herbalist who dedicated his life to the healing power of nature. This legacy was carried forward by generations, preserving ancient recipes and blending them with modern research.
In a small dispensary in the foothills of the Himalayas, Hakeem Phami Ram Ji spent his life learning which herbs the body responds to, and in what proportion. He kept his formulations in a hand-written register — quantities, infusion times, the season each herb was best harvested in.
That register is still with our family. Every Avanya formulation traces back to a page in it.
What changed, and what did not
We test in accredited labs now. We work with dermatologists. We source from farms we have visited. What has not changed is the proportion of herb to base, the refusal to cut a formulation with mineral oil, and the belief that hair care should be slow.
Our promise
Every bottle is made in India, tested for safety, and free of sulphates, parabens, silicones and artificial colour. We do not test on animals. We do not make claims we cannot stand behind.
